Overview

New Life Foundation’s philosophy is expressed in our motto: “To help relieve suffering in spirit, soul and body and assist the Cambodian people to prepare for a prosperous future.” We are currently fulfilling this motto in Phnom Penh through our Office Skills Training School and in provincial villages by New Life Community Centers.

Background

New Life Foundation was originally the vision of Mr. Eric Dooley. Mr. Dooley and his family worked in Indonesia and Singapore eleven (11) years before coming to Cambodia. After registering with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in October 1994, Mr. Dooley and his team of doctors and nurses began their project of providing primary health care teaching at Tuk T’lah Clinic outside of Phnom Penh. Eventually the work was moved to Russy Keo District Hospital where they completed their project 31 December 1997. As well as serving the people of Cambodia by providing primary health care teaching, New Life Foundation has worked closely with the Royal University of Phnom Penh by providing English teachers at the Foreign Language School, Architect teachers at the School of Fine Arts, and Computer teachers at the Computer Science Department. New Life Foundation has also been active in helping flood victims and the poor and volunteering in various projects in Phnom Penh.
