Cambodian Volunteers for Community Development (CVCD) is a nongovernment organization (NGO) which administers and implements the following projects aiming at improving livelihoods of target communities:

1) Volunteer Service;

2) Sustainable livelihood and Economic Development; 

3) Educational Development;

4) Organizational Development

Background

Cambodian Volunteers for Community Development was established on December 25, 1992 under the initiative of Mr. PETER POND and his adopted child, ARN JOHN POND, and a number of students studying English in the area behind the Royal Palace. Cambodian Volunteers for Community Development was acknowledged on September 22, 1993 by His Majesty Norodom Sihanouk, Former King of the Kingdom of Cambodia and was registered with the Ministry of Interior on May 17, 1996.
