Background

Welcome to the Cambodia Cassava Development Association! The abbreviation of Cambodia Cassava Development Association is CCDA. CCDA is established on 15th August 2011. CCDA focused on the Agriculture Sector of Cassava in Cambodia, which would consequently benefit the Cambodia economy as a part and willing to provide good practice and operational guidance for farmers. At the present, Cassava crop has become important, due to increased demand for supplying to the domestic and international markets. Cassava cultivation area has increased almost two times and has become a popular crop after rice. Even Cambodia Cassava Production has grew rapidly from 150,000ton in the year 2000 to 8millions ton in the year 2011, but implementation of cultivation techniques are still poor and most of fresh roots have brought to neighbor countries.

Mission

Mission Association is to promote, foster and encourage the development and popularity of sustainable cassava cultivation in Cambodia, as well as promoting Cambodian economic development. Our mission has 3 components 1) To maximize sustainable cassava production 2) To share information with members so as we build our knowledge bank 3) To design value chains for enhanced cassava business Provide informations to privates and farmers on the actual situations of the cassava in Cambodia
