Overview

Mlup Baitong is a Cambodian non-profit, non-government organization. Mlup Baitong's mission is to increase environmental awareness and conservation through education, training, advocacy and other environmental services to support the sustainable and equitable use of natural resources for the benefit of Cambodia.

Background

Mlup Baitong, which translates to "Green Shade", was established as a project of a British NGO in February 1998 and became a local NGO in January 2001. Since then, Mlup Baitong has developed capacity in environmental training, natural resource management, educational materials production, protected areas management and environmental advocacy. Mlup Baitong cooperates closely with other organizations working in the environment field.
