Overview

Women For Prosperity (WFP) is a local non-governmental organization that seeks to empower women, to enable them to economically support their families, to experience personal safety and security, and maintain their values and identity. At WFP we also seek to empower women in the recognition and exercise of their rights, on equal terms with men, through leadership training, legal rights and protection and economic development. We are an organization dedicated to the betterment of women. The future of women in Cambodia is help by many promises, potentials and opportunities. As an organization that advocates for women’s causes and one that is dedicated to making their living social political and economic conditions better, WFP will continue to develop programs and activities that encourage them to take control of their lives. WFP want women to participate on an equal footing with men in local and national forums, assemblies, and other venues on issues affecting them and the country.

Background

Women For Prosperity (WFP) was established in July 01st, 1994 by Board of Directors from different fields of expertise such as health, business sectors, governmental member and international organization.
