Overview

Cambodia Anti-Tuberculosis Association is working with 3 staff and 2 volunteers (Executive Director, Assistant Director and Finance Officer). CATA is a newly association which formed on January 01, 2003 and registered with the royal government of Cambodia, the Ministry of Interior on December 05, 2003.

Background

The CATA is established in accordance with the policies, strategies and activities of the National Tuberculosis Control Program. CATA has 5 members of Board of Directors, 3 Staff, 2 volunteers, and 3 persons are technical working group. Now a day, CATA is currently supporting both technical, budget, staff and material by CENAT/JICA National TB Control Project and Japan Anti-Tuberculosis Association.

Mission

The Cambodia Anti-Tuberculosis Association is a Cambodian non-private profit association, neutral regardless of race, religious and political beliefs. The association does not involve in politics, act as political instrument and does not support any political party, supporter and politician by providing any material, budget or human resources.

Vision

Through assisting the National Tuberculosis Control Program, the main goal of CATA is to contribute to reducing the morbidity and mortality among the Cambodian communities, especially the poor, caused by tuberculosis and lung diseases in order to contribute to the socio-economic development and poverty reduction in Cambodia. Moreover, the association has the strategies to promote and strengthen the collaboration with other institutions and organization, both local and international.
