Overview

Action for Research and Development (ARD) is a local Non governmental, Non Profit, independent, neutral and uninvolved in any political party. Action for Research and Development has its own motto as Capacity, Quality and Transparency which reflect to our firm determination and accountability in accomplishing our mission.

Background

Action for Research and Development was set up in late December 2005 by a group of six Cambodian Founders who have knowledge and Experiences in Community Development, Natural Resource Management and Environment, and Human Resource Capacity Building. Since getting official acknowledgement from the Ministry of Interior ARD are starting its activity implementation actively in building and strengthening the capacity of the students and community development. ARD are also get fully support from acknowledgeable and experienced five Advisory Board Council (ABC) Members, and strong commitment from 12 Voluntary Staff ho are carrying out the activity followed to the agreed vision and mission. We are all having strong commitment to work in the development and conservation in order to contribute in living condition improvement of the poor people in community with a sustained natural resource and environment. The organization motto is Capacity Quality and Transparency, which reflect our high determination and accountability to accomplish our mission with greater results to benefit our targeted group and build a good model to follow.
