Background

The Community Empowerment and Development Team (CEDT) is a Cambodian NGO based in Phnom Penh and established in May 2009 with the goal to strengthen poor communities, improve their living conditions, and ultimately support communities to realise their rights. CEDT is registered as a local non-profit organization with the Ministry of Interior and is allowed to receive foreign funding.

Mission

Our mission is to empower communities to manage their own development, strengthen relationships with local authorities, and improve their living conditions through the provision of knowledge, pro-poor technical training and assistance for long-term development and sustainability.

Vision

Our vision is a Cambodia where communities increase their self-empowerment, have the skills and self-determination to resolve their problems themselves, and work cooperatively to improve their living conditions.
