Background
BBC Media Action has worked in Cambodia since 2003. Using media to improve health, projects have tackled maternal and child health issues, HIV and AIDS and malaria. BBC Media Action’s work has a particular focus on using TV, radio and online media to reach young people in Cambodia. Loy9 helped get young people involved in local and national decision-making and Love9 helped young people learn about sexual and reproductive health issues. Klahan9 is currently working to improve young people's employment prospects.
