Overview

Ockenden Cambodia characterises itself as a development organisation, tending to concentrate on areas where there are most vulnerable rural communities (including displaced families, women headed households and handicapped people) and indigenous ethnic minority groups. All development activities have been designed and selected in a participatory approach and will be undertaken directly with the grassroots communities so as to strengthen local participation in the projects and create longer term sustainability.

Background

It has localised from Ockenden International since 1st April 2007 in order to continue the implementations of projects and to take all responsibilities handed over by Ockenden International, Ockenden Cambodia currently works in six different provinces in Cambodia ― five existing northwest provinces and one northeast province (Ratanakiri province.
