Overview
ASAC is a Japanese NGO, which is non-governmental, non-profit and non-religious with commitment to international aid activities in Cambodia. "Equal Education Opportunity For All children" This is the motto of our organization. We'd like to offer and facilitate safe and secure education opportunities to Cambodian children as much as possible. The main support of ours to Cambodia is the Education area, which has suffered from the long civil war. Education is one of the most important sectors needed to rehabilitate the war-torn country, for the future of children who will be the next generation and the main power to reconstruct the society and to maintain democracy and peace. Therefore the Construction of Primary Schools is our first main activity in Cambodia. At the same time, we conduct Literacy Program for adults in our newly built school area, to give the chance of study to villagers who have lost education opportunities because of war and poverty, the program will improve their basic knowledge to help to promote their living condition.
