Background
DDSP, "Disability Development Services Program", is a Cambodian non-governmental organisation launched in January 2003. As because of its great achievement and good reputation; some visitors, donors as well as evaluator team recommended extending to new areas out of Pursat province. To response the above recommendation, this small organisation has changed its name from “Disability Development Services Pursat” to “Disability Development Services Program” since 25th January 2010. DDSP is one of the few rural Cambodian organisations providing community services to disabled people and other poor people. DDSP works with all disabled people, their families and the most poor, but focuses on the most vulnerable, especially disabled children, women, landmine survivors and people with severe disabilities such as paraplegia and cerebral palsy.
