Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) is the biggest event of the year for CCC members, partners and constituencies to come together to celebrate the success 2017, to discuss on key issues and also set commitments for 2018.
In accordance with its bylaws, AGM is conducted with its members to celebrate the achievement, to review the performance for the past year, and to discuss plans for the following years. All stakeholders are invited to share their experience and expertise, and to exchange their mutual understanding on the common development issues, and to discuss on the initial actions to address those development challenges.
The 28th AGM conducted on 16 March 2018 at Cambodiana Hotel in Phnom Penh with 270 participants who are all CCC members, and development actors (the government officials, the development partners, the CSO representatives, and the private sector) across Cambodia to participate, debate, and discuss on the key thematic issues including development trends, enabling environment for CSO, strengthening good governance, innovation, promoting gender, social inclusion, public quality services, global development agenda, and financial sustainability. Below are specific objectives of the meeting:
- To celebrate key achievements of CCC and its members in contributing to development of Cambodia in 2017 and to launch the approved operational plan and budget 2018.
- To discuss on key initiatives that promote legal compliance, financial sustainability, local ownership and sustainability.
- To collectively discuss on CSO roles and inclusive partnership in implementation and monitoring of localization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and sub-national democratic development program including implementation of social accountability framework.
- To enhance the collaboration among CCC members and partners into concrete strategies/actions in responding to the development issues.
