Gender Specialist for Early Warning System

The Consultant will be responsible for developing a training curriculum and for providing a 3-days Training of Trainers (ToT) to local authorities, especially the National/Provincial Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM, PCDM) on gender-sensitive early warning, disability sensitive risk communication and inclusive early action, and inclusion of gender and disability mainstreaming in contingency planning. Furthermore, the Consultant using the feedback received during the ToT by the NCDM will develop a guidance document on mainstreaming gender and vulnerable groups in EWS.
